Still in love with this skirt, even though its extreme pink-ness makes it a little office-inappropriate (at least for me). Paired it with a simple color block tee from H&M+ for a minimalist vibe, but I couldn't resist throwing on some simple gold jewelry to complete the look. (I can't get enough of this eloquii necklace!) Also wearing my Rebecca Minkoff Steady satchel from years ago that I used as a bookbag in college. The poor thing has been to hell and back. Must find a handbag doctor to get it back to its perky, original state. Handbag doctors--those totally exist, right?

trend spotlight: printed denim

One of my favorite Spring 2012 trends is printed denim. Nothing conveys attitude more than a pair of snake print skinnies paired with a slouchy black tshirt and leather jacket. I'd totally rock the leopard skinnies with an oversized white tank, leather wrap bracelets, and a straw fedora for a sexy summer look, too! I know many plus size women don't think they can "pull off" printed bottoms, but I think it's all about confidence when wearing a pair of these attention-getters. ;)
