runaround

I had pushed these shoes into a dark corner of my apartment because I knew I couldn't do much in them (except maybe teeter perilously in a 3 foot circle). Surprisingly, when I slipped them on today, they felt fine! Almost...normal? The heel is a bit slippery and the incline is still 5.5 inches, but they were definitely walkable.
This tank/vest thingy is one of my new favorite pieces. It's a sweater material on the front and back and it has black mesh side panels. It's super breezy (obvs), and a nice swingy shape. 

Anyhow, today was so effing hot. After a brief stint outside, I returned to my ac-ed apartment to watch a marathon of The City.(lol. I'm so productive. -_-') That's okay. NYC tomorrow!! I'm so stoked--this trip is going to be amazing! :D Now I just have to figure out what to pack!
