Been dying to share this skirt with you guys but couldn't decide what to wear with it! Of course now it's sold out in this color, but you can still find the same style  in coral, oxblood, blue, or floral! In the end, kept it simple with one of my favorite cotton tshirts to keep it light and bright. The clutch and necklace were impulse buys from Forever 21 and Topshop my last day in Vegas, but I love them! The clutch is huge and its minty shade brings a smile to my face every time I use it.

Nordstrom Encore Fall Fashion Preview

I was so psyched to be invited to the Nordstrom Fall Fashion Preview, hosted by Marie Denee! I've been a longtime fangirl of Nordstrom (I was a Brass Plum girl growing up. :P), so I was stoked to see that they were reaching out and having a Fall Fashion Preview for plus size shoppers! The event was also at "my" Nordstrom (South Coast Plaza) during the Annual Sale, so, you know--I couldn't not go.

a flare affair

Jeans and a blazer may be my go-to outfit, but I WILL use any excuse to play dress up. There's something so fun and exciting about putting on a really pretty dress,and strapping on some girly heels! So when the Tadashi Shoji team asked if I wanted to style one of their gorgeous dresses, I immediately jumped on the opportunity. I've been a huge fan of Tadashi Shoji for years (my all time favorite LBD is from them!) and was so psyched to hear that they recently opened up their online shop for plus sizes. I love the mesh panels and flared shape of this dress, so I played it up with an equally flare-y cape and some gold accessories and pops of red.

happy 4th!

Fireworks from last year's 4th of July celebration in San Francisco. ♥

Hey loves! Taking a little bit of a outfit post break since I'm at my parents' place for the week. :D Nothing like reverting to high school habits of staying up late, sleeping in, and never having to worry about what's for dinner. YES.
