FALL FORWARD

You guys. This Sunday will be the first. day. of. fall. I can't wait to break out things with sleeves and knits and jeans and leather and jackets and cinnamon flavored/scented everything!

Ushering in a new season also means ushering in new clothes, and this dress is a new favorite from Simply Be's Luxe Collection. I love the densely packed sequins, and the fact that they're matte makes this perfect for so many occasions. Since the piece is such a statement maker, I kept the accessories simple with a leopard clutch and classic pumps. I have a thing about wearing tunics as dresses, but for those of you looking for a little more coverage, this would look fab paired with dark jeans and boots, or even some leather skinny pants and heels!

CALIFORNIA DREAMIN

Happy Independence Day! :) As much as I'm loving this trip through Europe, I'm missing home quite a bit, especially as I would normally be barbecuing, eating watermelon, and hanging out by the pool today. Ah well, I'll settle for exploring castles and pretty towns in Germany! ;)

Cover anything with sparkles and I will love it. This dress is no exception! I love the bright cobalt blue, but the real statement maker is the super embellished neckline! It instantly dresses up an otherwise simply cut dress, and I've gotten to wear this for a variety of occasions, from picnicking outside to a concert in Vienna. The best part? It also comes in my favorite color--purple!!
