Something about all-white outfits just pops so much, so I paired the jacket with my newest dress obsession, this blousy, cold shoulder dress from H&M's Conscious Collection. Next, I just need to find a pair of white heels and a clutch to make my transition into all-white-everything complete!

Last week I was lamenting my pale, pale skin, but I've kind of come to embrace it. I'm not usually a fan of red lips or red tops on myself since I feel like it brings out my reddish (see: sundamaged) complexion, but the recent lack of sun-worshipping has given me new lease on the color. Perfect time to whip out a vampy look with this amazing velvet blazer and studded top (bodysuit, actually).

Finished off my outfit with this bag by Alexandra Satine, an amazing designer who specializes in totally stylin' bags that do double (or triple or quadruple or quintuple) duty. The white calf hair flap on this sexy number is actually ANOTHER bag that slips out and has its own gold chain for dressier occasions. Mind. Blown.

Put this on over the weekend when it was still decently cool. I've been gravitating toward loads of blacks and studs and chains lately, and playing with textures to keep things interesting. These animal print skinny jeans from Forever 21+ are a new favorite of mine, even though they definitely fall outside my comfort zone. I love the rocker-vibe the dark print exudes so I kept to the theme with black leather and mixed metals. I can't remember the last time I wore these boots (2009? 2010?) but I still love the hefty weight and clinky sound they make when I walk. The sounds reminds me of spurs, and anything that appeals to my inner cowgirl has a permanent place in my heart.

Colored denim is such a happy thing to wear, especially when paired with a few favorite details like  a sheer shirt and some standout accessories. I don't really notice trends in what I'm gravitating to until they appear on this blog, but as you can see, I'm all about spikey necklaces! The heels, on the other hand, are unlike any shoes I've owned before--patterns on shoes tend to throw me off more than patterns on other things, I guess? Still, I'm so glad I stepped out (see what I did there? :P) of my comfort zone and got them! love love.
