TWO-TONE

Hey guys!! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday and are looking forward to counting down to 2014! I already blogged what I'll be wearing tonight but I wanted to finish off the year with one of my favorite looks to date!

 I've been on the hunt for a great camel coat and this beauty from Talbot's fit the bill perfectly! The boxy cut and two-tone design strike the perfect balance between on-trend and classic. With a silky blouse, printed boyfriend jeans, and printed pumps, this outfit was perfect for a weekend brunch, just hanging out with friends and family and recovering from the Christmas madness.

COZY UP

Wooooo, okay, worst blogger award goes to yours truly. Things have been pretty crazy here as we move into our new place, but we're finally getting settled in! Not easy since I now have less than HALF the closet space I used to (brb crying), but it was a good opportunity to assess the clothes hoarding situation I had gotten myself into. Finally purged some items I had held on to for far too long! I also discovered that I own an inordinate amount of scarves given the mild winter we have, but I love them too much to get rid of them. Maybe during the next move. lol!

Anyway, I'm so excited for the holidays this year! With it comes family, fun, and cute outfits to share! I wore this outfit for a friend's wedding a couple weeks ago--the contrasting fur collar on the bright teal coat is so fabulous and festive!

Super speedy post today! Things have been hectic around here lately (the couple weeks around Lunar New Year always are!), so comfort has been key to survival. Dug up these ankle zip jeans from Lane Bryant (circa 2010) that suddenly feel relevant again, and paired them with an insanely soft sweater perfect for getting things done in. Added snakeskin accents, my go-to, hold-everything bag, and just a couple bracelets for good measure.

Thanks, Talbots, for sending this chic velvet number and sparkly bracelet when I couldn't find anything to wear! I absolutely loved the dress and can't wait to find an excuse to wear it again! ♥
