LIVING DOLL LA

I love finding out about Cali-based, plus size designers and retailers, so when Living Doll LA reached out to me about the addition of plus sizes to their shop, I was so psyched! This video of their totally adorable plus size senior designer Christi Raye talking about the line sealed the deal for me. How perfect is that floral bomber at 1:10??? Need it in my life!
The line is definitely geared toward a younger (or young at heart!) crowd and is full of pretty prints, breezy chiffons, and sporty graphic tees. While perusing the site, I just about died for the print on this skirt, and it's just as amazing in person. I love that it can be dressed up like this for work, or paired with a cute crop top for a night out. Besides this skirt, a few of my current favorites available on their site are this lace top, this moto vest, and this crop top! Bonus points for the majority of what they carry being made in the USA!

TRANSITION DRESSING

Incorporating leather into my outfits in a way that won't leave me with a heat stroke has more or less become my mission in life. It may be 90 degrees but that won't keep me from wearing leather on a daily basis!

Paired with an embellished sleeveless blouse from Simply Be's Luxe collection, this skirt feels totally weather-appropriate. I can't wait until it cools down enough to pair these with a classic trench like this one or this sleek tuxedo blazer. This shirt would be way cute with skinny jeans and riding boots, too! :)

Hey guys! :D Checking in from Germany to share another look from MYNT! Of the three MYNT pieces I've worn, this one is my favorite! I love the contrasting body/sleeve combo, and there are so many chic details; I adore the contrast exposed zippers, buckles at the waist, and I love the leather epaulettes!

One of my favorite ways to wear feminine, wispy pieces is pairing them with tough, moto-inspired items to keep them from being overly saccharine. I absolutely love the way the jacket anchors this silky dress to make it wearable for day--without it, it looks a bit like a nightgown! :P
